Groova descripción

Groova is a preference and location-based event guide
When users sign up information about the user and their preferences (i.e. Drinks, Style of event, offering of/ at event, and Music genre) is collected to help customize their profile in order to view events that match their preferences
Users can automatically sign up with their existing Gmail account or they can go through the process of creating a profile with a new email account
Users can also choose to give personal information such age, cell phone number and Sex or not
Once their profile is setup user view events that match their preferences and are around them
User are also able to view events according to the different categories they are listed under (i.e. Special events, clubs, bars, and Markets)
Once a user views an event of interest they can click and view detailed information about the event i.e. the name of the event, date and time of the event, physical address of event, distance of event from device according to google coordinates, a full description of the event by event organisers, and an artist line up if it exists

Users can click on the artist to view the artist profile with more detailed information about the artist i.e. the artist booking details, the Name of the artist and their artist bio, the artists’ genre of music, the number of events they are linked with/ performing at on the platform, links to the artists’ music across all streaming platforms they have profiles on, and a list of all their listed upcoming events

Once the user has selected an event to their liking, they are able to use the following functions:
1) Get directions - Using the users current location to navigate to the event through their native navigation app or a 3rd Party navigation app
2) Get a ride - Using the users current location as the pick up location and the event location as the destination within the Uber app and then proceeds to checkout/where user can confirm or decline the ride
3) Share this event - where it pulls up all messaging apps to enable sharing the event with friends and contacts of choice
4) Get tickets - Links to 3rd Party ticket providers that event organisers are utilizing for their ticket sales NB we do not ticket on the platform, we are not an e-commerce platform.

On the landing page there is a universal search that allows users to search for events using any keyword such as location, name of event, name of venue, or any other information linked with an event that is available on the platform

The Menu bar has 6 different button i.e. a back button - that allows the user to go back to the page they were previously on, Home button - to go to the landing events page, My Profile - that allows the user to revisit/edit their profile, change their preferences, and to Logout of the platform/app, Share this App - that pulls up the native device messaging apps to enable sharing the app with contacts, Terms and Condition - that links with the Privacy policy of the platform.
