World Golf was established in 1977 in Colorado Springs by PGA Professional Mark Fontana with the objective of building an up-scale facility that offered a complete line of golf services and products. After years of growth, World Golf and Sand Creek GC now consists of a show-case lighted driving range, a 9-hole executive length golf course, miniature golf, restaurant pub & grill, and the largest golf retail outlet in Southern Colorado.

We have become “The Place” for game improvement in Colorado. Our professional staff has given over 50,000 people golf lessons and we have always supported our lesson programs with the latest video and swing analysis equipment available.

Our retail operation has flourished even while internet and “big-box” retailers have dominated much of the market share. The reason is a combination of our reputation for being the “club fitting experts”, and the ability for golfers to demonstrate all major brands on the driving range, large inventory levels to support sales, and a well trained professional and sales staff. Our repair and club-building facility is equipped to do all repair jobs and our club-makers typically build over 2,000 sets of clubs per year to support our sales. Many clubs are built from our own design and tooling.
