Open Nettest - Broadband Speed Test - 5G and Wifi descripción

Open Nettest is a platform for measurement of the Internet connection in fixed, cellular and WiFi networks. Besides usual indicators, like download and upload speed, Open Nettest performs a set of unique measurements to assess the quality of service and the adherence to the net neutrality principles. It places a strong focus on quality and reliability.

Open Nettest is an independent and transparent tool, developed and improved with the expertise of Regulatory Authorities across Europe. The measurement ecosystem is not sponsored by any Internet service provider. The measurement servers are located outside of the operators' networks in several Internet peering exchange point. The source code, including the measurement methodology, is available on-line at https://github.com/specure under Apache 2.0 open source license.

The aggregated results are available in the app and also on-line at https://nettest.org/en/statistics. The anonymized raw data is also available as open data on various European data portals and at https://nettest.org/en/opendata.

The iOS application contains a rich set of features, including:
- Measurement of basic parameters of your internet connection: download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter and packet loss
- Measurement of additional QoS and Net Neutrality parameters: Test of VOIP connection, Closed TCP and UDP ports, Webpage rendering test (Kepler page), Transparent connection test, Unmodified content test, DNS test
- Heat map of the measurement results
- Measurement history
- Statistics
- Loop mode for continuous measurement
